Recovering from Emotional
Shock or Trauma

The tragedy that occurred
September 11th
has left all of us reeling in shock and overwhelmed with emotion. Like
you, I have found it challenging to resume a "normal" life. It
was through this quest for comfort that I created and experienced some
custom aromatherapy blends that will help bring the consolation we all
seek during this difficult time.
Warding Off Panic Attacks or Intense Fears
In a 10-ml bottle, pour the following essential oils and then add
organic vegetable oil to fill.
·4 drops Roman Chamomile
·3 drops Rose otto
·10 drops Marjoram
Inhale directly from the bottle on the onset of an attack. Anoint the
solar plexus, neck and chest.
Overcoming the Loss of a Loved One
In a 10-ml bottle, pour the following essential oils and then add
organic vegetable oil to fill.
·2 drops Rose otto
·7 drops Sandalwood
·2 drops Melissa
Anoint the heart and solar plexus. Inhale when needed. Add a few drops
to your warm bath water and soak for at least 15 minutes.
Calming Anger and Intense Anguish
In a 10-ml bottle, pour the following essential oils and then add
organic vegetable oil to fill.
·10 drops Lavender
·10 drops Marjoram
·2 drops Rose
Anoint the heart, solar plexus sacrum and abdomen. Inhale when needed.
Add a few drops to your warm bath water and soak for at least 15
minutes.
Releasing Blocked Emotions
In a 10-ml bottle, pour the following essential oils and then add
organic vegetable oil to fill.
·5 drops Hildegarde: Melusine Oil for Transformation
Pour a few drops in the palm of your hands and inhale. Anoint the solar
plexus, abdomen and heart chakras. Add a few drops to your warm bath
water and soak for at least 15 minutes.
